Loud and Proud

A little while back, I briefly met Suzi Quatro at a local event. Wow, this woman ROCKS!

Thinking about it I realised she had been a determining influence on my whole outlook on life. When I was a kid women wore skirts and dresses and were “pretty” for the boys. But Suzi stood at the front of the stage, in a leather catsuit and single handedly redefined sexy.

She came over as happy, strong, proud and sassy, she made it OK for women to Rock n Roll. And all these years later she still does.

Thanks Suzi, we owe you.

Every woman that stands proud, strong and happy is beautiful.
